ENCE have completed their evaluation of Joe “joeski” Holmes and signed the young player to a long-term contract. The organization also confirmed long-term agreements with the rest of its current Counter-Strike lineup, turning a trial arrangement into a settled five-player project under coach Aleksi “allu” Jalli.
The decision keeps Aleksi “millert” Lehtopuu, Giorgi “Schwarz” Gakhokidze, Henri “HENU” Ylilehto, joeski and Teemu “teme” Korva together. ENCE described the roster as locked for the foreseeable future, giving the group a defined base from which to work instead of another short evaluation cycle.
joeski joined on trial in early August after replacing Niki “Cliqq” Kinnunen. That arrangement allowed ENCE to test the fit in official matches before making a longer commitment. The club has now decided that the trial produced enough information to retain him and secure the wider lineup at the same time.
The move is significant because it changes the questions around the team. Selection is no longer the immediate issue; development is. With contracts settled, the staff can evaluate progress through communication, role clarity, map preparation and the ability to turn competitive series into consistent results.
A trial becomes a commitment to the full lineup
joeski arrived after the Young Ninjas project was put on hold. At nineteen, he remains early in his senior career, yet the trial gave him a meaningful sample inside ENCE’s current structure. His Rating 3.0 across the preceding seventy-two maps was 1.02, a broadly steady starting point rather than evidence that the finished player has already emerged.
Recent team results also show why continuity matters. ENCE recorded wins over Just Players, Lavked and Honved, while losing to Black Phoenix, Illyrians, KAMUI and UNiTY. That mixture suggests a roster capable of productive stretches but still searching for a repeatable level across different opponents.
The confirmed group now has a clear division of responsibilities:

- millert, Schwarz and HENU remain part of the developing core.
- joeski converts his trial place into a long-term roster position.
- teme completes the active five without another accompanying change.
- allu continues as coach and can plan around a stable personnel group.
A locked roster does not mean roles can never evolve. It means the organization has chosen the people who will solve those problems together. That distinction is useful for a young lineup because players can work through mistakes without every poor event automatically becoming a new selection debate.
The benefit should be clearest in the less visible parts of competition. Stable teams can build a shared vocabulary for mid-round decisions, assign repeatable responsibilities on each map and review recurring errors over a longer period. Those gains are gradual, but they are difficult to achieve while players remain on temporary terms.
ENCE now need development to become measurable progress
The announcement removes uncertainty, but it also raises expectations. ENCE explicitly said the completed evaluation lets the team focus on developing together. That goal should be visible in fewer avoidable resets, stronger conversion of favorable rounds and a map pool that does not depend on one comfortable choice.
joeski’s position will be judged within that collective work. His recent figures provide context, not a ceiling. A permanent agreement gives the staff time to refine how his entrying, trading and utility use support the rest of the roster, while the player gains a clearer environment in which to improve.
For allu, the task is to convert stability into standards. The lineup includes young players from different competitive backgrounds, so clear review routines and role ownership will matter as much as isolated highlights. The club has made the personnel decision; the next evidence must come from the team’s play.

| Position | Name | Current status |
|---|---|---|
| Player | millert | Long-term lineup member |
| Player | Schwarz | Long-term lineup member |
| Player | HENU | Long-term lineup member |
| Player | joeski | Signed after trial |
| Player | teme | Long-term lineup member |
| Coach | allu | Leads the retained group |
ENCE have chosen continuity after using the opening weeks of the season to evaluate joeski. By signing him and the rest of the five to long-term deals, the organization has given allu a stable unit rather than another temporary combination.
The value of that decision will depend on what follows. If the group turns mixed results into clearer roles and reliable match preparation, the roster lock will look like the start of a coherent project rather than merely the end of a trial.
